The City of Delray Beach launched an initiative to promote small businesses in the community. It turns out 93% of the business in Delray have fewer than 10 employees. "I Heart Small Biz" is designed to promote their work and encourage their growth.

Moonlighter Makerspace
Entrepreneurs Tom Pupo and Daisy Nodal realized South Florida lacked the resources for companies with specific manufacturing needs. Tom and Daisy created Moonlighter Miami, a membership-based makerspace with manufacturing equipment, technology and workshops for "maker" businesses. Moonlighter launched in August with the help of Miami-Dade SCORE.
